When homeowners in Austin start thinking about a kitchen remodel, the first question is usually where to begin. The answer comes down to understanding the phases of the project and what each one involves.
Planning comes first. We walk through your kitchen, talk about how you cook and entertain, and look at what works and what doesn't. From there we settle on a layout, materials, and a realistic budget before anything gets demolished. Good planning is what keeps the rest of the project on track.
Then the work begins: old cabinets and counters come out, plumbing and electrical get updated where needed, and the space is prepped. New flooring, cabinets, and countertops go in, followed by backsplash, fixtures, and paint. Cabinet installation and flooring are the steps that transform the room most visibly, and they require careful measuring to get right.
Most kitchen remodels in the Austin area follow the same rhythm, but every home is different. Older homes in neighborhoods like Round Rock or Georgetown may need extra electrical or plumbing work, while newer builds in Pflugerville or Cedar Park often move faster. We keep you informed at every stage so there are no surprises.
